- 2004: Under graduate student founded Yatra, to contribute in the sector of Youth & Environment
- 2005: Yatra, founder member of Association of Youth Organization Nepal (AYON). Currently AYON has around 70 member organizations from different part of Nepal
- 2005: Yatra elected as an executive member of AYON
- 2006: Yatra received environmental grant from Ministry of Environment Science and Technology
- 2006: President of Yatra awarded as an outstanding award hosted by Voice of Women (VoW) Magazine
- 2007: Yatra became the Green Youth Ambassador for Nepal, by World Youth Foundation
- 2007: Yatra able to present itself as an organization working in the sector of wetland by valuable contribution in the National level programs organized by major national/international conservation stakeholders. Yatra was recognized for the contribution it has been providing for the conservation of Nagdaha, a natural wetland.
- 2008: Yatra won Danish Government Cultural grant for its concept Nagdaha ko Yatra
- 2009: Yatra was awarded with Matthew Preece and Yeshi Lama Young Conservation Leader Award 2009
- 2009: Founded EnvOrgs (Environmental Organizations Network) to foster cooperation and partnership among youth led organizations working for environment
- 2010: Yatra received grant to research on Women's sexual and health practices of Tamang and Pahari communities in Lele and Badikhel respectively
- 2010: Yatra's Secretary selected as Youth Leader for youth panel of Asia Pacific Leadership Forum for HIV/AIDS and Development
